As a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ and a Wealth Manager Jones Colby & Tondre, Dustin serves as the primary trusted advisor for a select group of individuals and families. Dustin provides complex strategies helping families create, protect, preserve, grow, and facilitate the inevitable transfer of wealth to the intended beneficiaries. Prior to forming JCT, Dustin worked with USAA Wealth Management, providing comprehensive wealth management services to USAA’s high net worth clientele. Dustin graduated from Texas State University where he earned dual degrees in Finance and Marketing. In addition, Dustin holds an MBA from the University of the Incarnate Word.
Brad Little is a Wealth Manager with Jones, Colby & Tondre Financial Advisors. His primary responsibility is guiding individuals and families through all stages of wealth planning by providing personal and tailored ideas for JCT's affluent clientele. Prior to joining JCT, Brad spent over two years with USAA Wealth Management helping facilitate the financial security of affluent investors. His responsibilities included investment and retirement planning, estate planning, risk management, and insurance planning. Prior to entering the Wealth Management business, Brad was a technology consultant and curriculum specialist with North East ISD in San Antonio, Texas. He holds a Bachelors of Arts Degree from The University of Texas at San Antonio.
Chairman, President and CEO
Mr. Jones is co-founder of Jones Colby & Tondre. and serves as the company's Chairman, President and Chief Executive Officer. He is also co-founder, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of TWG Insurance and Goosehead Insurance. Under Mr. Jones' leadership, TWG has become one of the largest and fastest growing personal lines property and casualty brokers in the United States. Goosehead Insurance is a major franchise operation for insurance entrepreneurs. Prior to creating TWG, he was a senior partner and director of Bain & Company working in many industries, including financial services. Earlier in his career, Mr. Jones worked in the audit and mergers and acquisition groups of Ernst & Young. He holds a Bachelor of Commerce Degree from the University of Alberta and an MBA from Harvard Business School.
Mr. Saunders serves as Vice Chairman for Jones Colby & Tondre. He is also President & COO of JCT affiliate, TWG Insurance. Prior to that, he served as CEO of the $200 million Berry Family of Nurseries; the largest supplier of plants and shrubs to the big box retail channel. Previously, he served in a number of senior executive positions, including CEO of the plumbing supply business of NCH, a $1 billion global supplier of industrial products. Earlier in his career, he served as a senior manager with Bain & Company and as a member of Financial Advisory Service Group of PriceWaterhouseCoopers. Mr. Saunders graduated from the University of Iowa with a BBA in accounting and earned an MBA from the Amos Tuck School of Business Administration at Dartmouth College where he graduated as a Tuck Scholar (top 5% of the class). He is also a Certified Public Accountant.
Michael Colby serves as the Chief Financial Officer for Jones Colby & Tondre. He joined Jones Colby & Tondre’s affiliate, TWG Insurance, in 2006 and was promoted to Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer in 2010. He has been instrumental in the company’s growth and intellectual property development, leading the company’s finance, IT and marketing functions. Mr. Colby has previous experience working at KPMG in their audit practice where he focused on clients in the technology industry, among others. He holds a B.B.A in Accounting and an M.S. in Finance from Texas A&M University and is a Certified Public Accountant.
Brent Meyer is the Chief Compliance Officer for Jones Colby & Tondre. Additionally, Mr. Meyer serves as the Controller and Director of Risk Management for TWG Insurance and Goosehead Insurance. Prior to joining TWG Insurance in 2009, Mr. Meyer worked in public accounting, primarily with the international firm of KPMG LLP. While in public accounting, Mr. Meyer focused on audits of both privately and publically held entities in various industries, including financial services. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration and Accounting from the University of Kansas and is also a Certified Public Accountant (CPA).
Mark Colby serves as the Controller for Jones Colby & Tondre. Additionally, he serves as the Manager of Strategic Initiatives for JCT’s affiliate, TWG Insurance, where he leads the company’s acquisition strategy and special projects team, including the design and implementation of the technology suite for Jones Colby & Tondre. Prior to joining the company, Mark worked for Ernst & Young LLP’s Transaction Advisory Services and Assurance Services practices. He has executed due diligence analyses for buy-side and sell-side transactions across several industries, company sizes, and global geographies. He holds a B.B.A. in Accounting and an M.S. in Finance from Texas A&M University and is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA).
Director of Human Capital
Ms. Randall is the Director of Human Capital for Jones Colby & Tondre along with JCT affiliates, TWG, and Goosehead Insurance. She is responsible for all human resource functions, including benefit plans, employee relations, internal policy, records, recruiting and hiring. Prior to joining the team, Mary worked as part of the cruise staff with Royal Caribbean Cruises and as an elementary school teacher. She earned a bachelor’s degree at Macquarie University in Sydney, Australia and is a member of the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM). Mary has also earned her Professional in Human Resources designation.
